Aug. 17, 2015 LOS ANGELES - The LMU Sports Network has reached the end of the summer feature highlighting all seven newcomers for LMU men's basketball. The series closes with Canadian National Team member Munis Tutu.
Rounding out the signing class of 2015 is Tutu, a native in Windsor, Canada who played this past summer for the Canadian National Team at the U18 FIBA Americas Championships. Tutu is a native of Egypt, moving to Canada at nine-months. He went on to star at J.L. Forster High School in Windsor. He helped the team to a 20-1 record and the city all-star game as a freshman and then made a name for himself by averaging 24 points with seven assists as a sophomore. He then transferred to La Lumiere, becoming a Cum Laude Honor Roll student.
The 2015-16 recruiting class combined to post a record of 266-98 (73.1 winning percentage) in each of their final two seasons at the previous institution.
