LOS ANGELES - LMU women's soccer will seek its third straight win, along with remaining unbeaten at Sullivan Field when they host Weber State Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. The weekend concludes in Westwood on Sunday as the Lions take on defending College Cup Champions and current No. 1 ranked UCLA at 6 p.m.
The Lions (4-1-1) are riding a two-match win streak, both double-overtime thrillers. Freshman Sarah Sanger provided the heroics in both matches, scoring 39 seconds into the second OT period at UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 7) and with 1:06 remaining versus Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 14).
Sanger and Callie Taylor have two goals apiece to lead the Lions. Sophia Leksan has three shutouts for LMU, and has allowed just three goals through six matches.
The Wildcats are 3-4-0 overall entering tonight's match. They have dropped their last two, a 4-3 overtime decision to Hawaii and a 2-1 final against UTEP. Prior to that, wins have come over Omaha, Wyoming and New Mexico.
Five players have scored twice or more on the year as Weber State has totaled 13 goals through seven matches. Mackenzie Harrison leads the way with three goals and three assists for nine points.
The Bruins enter the week at 6-0-1 overall and will play at Texas Friday night before hosting LMU on Sunday. UCLA has posted six shutouts through seven matches and has allowed just one goal thus far.

SERIES HISTORY VS WEBER STATE
This will mark the first meeting between the Lions and Wildcats since the 1997 season. LMU won that match-up, 2-1, in double overtime at Sullivan Field.
SERIES HISTORY VS UCLA
The Lions are no stranger to facing UCLA, nor facing UCLA as a No. 1 ranked opponent. Two years ago, LMU visited Drake Stadium and came away with a 1-1 draw against the then No. 1 ranked Bruins. That marked the first positive result for the Lions against UCLA in 13 all-time meetings. In 2013, the then No. 4 ranked Bruins took a 3-0 victory over LMU at Sullivan Field.
