BARCELONA, Spain -It has been quite the couple of years on the move for sophomore Matt Hayes. In 2013, he helped Pleasant Gove to a state championship. A year ago, he led Santa Rosa Junior College to its first state title. Now he wraps up a whirlwind summer transitioning to LMU and taking his first overseas trip.
Hayes and the Lions had the day to tour Barcelona on their own, and before he did, Hayes talked with the LMU Sports Network. He talked about his first international trip, the experience in Spain, his new team and adjusting to a leadership role as a point guard.
The Lions will depart for home on Friday morning. The final piece of LMU Sports Network's tour of Spain will feature Chase Flint.
