Sara Aldama had committed to play soccer for Loyola Marymount when she tore her anterior cruciate ligament in a high school playoff game.

Aldama was disappointed she had to sit out her first collegiate season but it paled in comparison to how she felt the first day of training camp her sophomore season.

Same knee. Same ACL tear. Only this time, she also tore the meniscus.
