LMU Women's Volleyball Completes 2026 Signing Class with Addition of Katsitadze

LOS ANGELES, CA – Loyola Marymount University women's volleyball has finalized its 2026 signing class with the addition of freshman outside hitter Melania Katsitadze, who will join the Lions ahead of the upcoming season.

A 5-foot-11 outside hitter from Tbilisi, Georgia, Katsitadze comes to LMU after competing at LEPL-Tbilisi Public School N161. She adds international experience, size, and versatility to the Lions' roster as the program prepares for the 2026 campaign.

"I chose LMU because of its strong volleyball program, competitive environment, and the opportunity to develop both academically and athletically as a student-athlete," Katsitadze said. "I am excited to contribute to the team while continuing to grow on and off the court. Go Lions!"

Katsitadze completes LMU's 2026 signing class, joining a group of newcomers that blends collegiate experience with promising young talent. The class reflects the Lions' continued commitment to building a competitive roster capable of making an immediate impact in the West Coast Conference.
