Zahraj Earns WCC All-Academic Honors, Highlighting Excellence On and Off the Court

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Loyola Marymount University women's tennis graduate student Kim-Michaela Zahraj has been named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team, recognizing her outstanding achievements both in the classroom and on the court.

A five-year member of the Lions program, Zahraj has consistently exemplified the balance of academic and athletic excellence that defines the WCC All-Academic honor. She holds a 3.72 cumulative GPA, well above the conference standard, while continuing to compete at a high level throughout her graduate season.

A veteran leader in LMU's lineup, Zahraj has appeared in all 17 matches this season, competing in both singles and doubles in every contest. She compiled an impressive 13-4 singles record, along with an 11-7 mark in doubles, underscoring her consistency, versatility, and value as a key contributor.

Zahraj's performance on the court has also earned conference recognition during the season, as she was named WCC Singles Player of the Week on February 10, 2026. Her ability to deliver in critical moments, combined with her leadership and experience, has made her a steady and reliable presence for the Lions.

Zahraj has been a dedicated and consistent presence for the Lions, contributing in every match this season while continuing to excel in the classroom. This recognition reflects her commitment to excellence in all aspects of the student-athlete experience, representing the highest standard of academic success and competitive achievement for LMU women's tennis.
