COLUMBUS, Ohio – LMU's
Nateesh Anatha Ganesh shot 2-under par to place in the top 10 after 36 holes at the Robert Kepler Invitational.
Anatha Ganesh shot 71-71—142 to sit in a 9-way tie for 10
th. Anatha Ganesh responded after recording two bogies over the first five holes with three birdies the rest of the first round. Similarly in the second round, Anatha Ganesh took a 2-over score to bring his score down to 2-under by the end of the day.
A pair of par rounds for
Trevor Algya, the senior is tied for 26
th at 72-72—144. Algya led the Lions with eight birdies.
Adam Pedersen (75-73—148) and
Pablo Garcia Terol (76-72—148) are tied at 4-over. Pedersen recorded the team's only eagle with his three on Hole 8 of the second round.
Louie Liu closed out the LMU five with his 77-78—155.
The team ranks 13
th with a scored of 6-over, 294-288—582. The Lions tied for fourth in the field with 116 holes of par.
The final round will tee off Sunday morning with LMU's five all starting from Hole 10. Liu will start play at 8:35 AM ET, following by Pedersen 10 minutes later, then Garcia Terol, Algya, and Anatha Ganesh in 10 minute increments.
