LMU Softball Climbs to No. 10 in D1Softball Mid-Major Rankings

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The LMU softball program continues its ascent on the national stage, jumping to No. 10 in the D1Softball Week 3 Mid-Major Rankings, released this week. The Lions climb six spots from last week's No. 16 ranking, marking one of the largest jumps in the poll and reinforcing LMU's status as one of the top mid-major programs in the country.

LMU's rise comes on the heels of a statement weekend that included a top-25 upset over No. 23 Washington, head coach Tairia Flowers' 150th career win at LMU, and the best 15-game start in program history at 13-2. Behind dominant pitching, explosive offense, and consistent execution in high-pressure moments, the Lions are proving themselves as a balanced and battle-tested squad capable of competing with anyone in the nation.

LMU stands as the highest-ranked WCC program, reflecting the program's growth, momentum, and rising national respect.

D1Softball's Mid-Major Rankings spotlight the premier programs outside the Power Five conferences, and LMU's emergence inside the top 10 underscores the Lions' impressive trajectory and early-season consistency. With confidence building and another competitive stretch of games ahead, LMU will look to continue climbing the national ladder as the season progresses.
