LOS ANGELES – The West Coast Conference has announced the 2026 Preseason All-WCC Men's Golf team, the conference announced on Friday. Trevor Algya and Nateesh Anatha Ganesh represent LMU on the Preseason Team.
 
Trevor Algya enters his fourth season leading the Lions. In the fall, Algya led LMU with a 69.56 stroke average over the team's four events. Algya has played 105 rounds for the Lions in his four-year career.
 
Nateesh Anatha Ganesh joined LMU ahead of the season. In three events this fall, the sophomore shot 71.22.
 
The WCC also released the Preseason Poll on Monday. The Lions received 94 points from the league's coaches and placed fourth of 12, only behind Pepperdine, Pacific, and San Diego.
 
LMU will return to play this upcoming week with three rounds against strong competition at the Southwestern Intercollegiate hosted by Pepperdine. The Lions will compete over three days at North Ranch CC in Westlake Village, CA.
