LOS ANGELES—The WCC has revealed its softball awards, highlighting the academic excellence of four Lions. Adele Braun and Izzy Jamgotchian were named to the All-Academic First Team, while Arianna Jaurequi and Savannah Hooks were recognized on the Honorable Mention Team.
 
This marks Braun, Jamgotchian, and Jaurequi's debut acknowledgment of academic achievements from the WCC. Hooks earned a position on the All-Academic Honorable Mention Team in the previous season.
 
Athletes eligible for nomination to the all-academic team must maintain a 3.2 GPA, serve as starters or key reserves, hold at least sophomore status, and participate in at least 50 percent of the team's games.
