LOS ANGELES – The LMU women's rowing team is currently en route to Lowell, OR, for their final regular competition of the season, the Dexter Lake Invite.
 
The Lions will travel three boats for the two-race competition on Saturday, Apr. 29. Morning races will start with the varsity four event at 8:20am, followed by the second varsity eight at 8:40am and varsity eight taking off at 9:00am. Morning race results will determine lanes for afternoon competition as both rounds of racing will see the same competitors. 
 
The Dexter Lake Invitational has a stacked lineup of competition from the following universities: LMU, Oregon State University, University of California Los Angeles, University of Central Florida, University of Gonzaga, University of Minnesota, University of Southern California & University of Wisconsin.
 
A second round of racing will start with the varsity four at 12:20pm, followed by the second varsity eight at 12:40pm and finishing off the day will be the varsity eight race at 1:00pm. 
 
"We are looking forward to testing our speed against new competition while also measuring our improvement on teams that we have already seen this season",  says head coach Allison Foster. "The opportunity to race eight boats across is great preparation for how the conference championship will feel just two weeks later. This is sure to be another great weekend of performing, executing and growing!"
