SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – After dropping the opening match of Cal Poly's Center of Effort Challenge, LMU beach volleyball went the distance to beat No. 11 Long Beach State in the final game of the day Friday. The Lions won in five over LBSU following the 4-1 defeat to No. 2 USC.
