LOS ANGELES – The WCC announced their weekly awards and LMU's, Veronika Miroshnichenko, was named WCC Singles Player of the Week for the first time this season.
 
Miroshnichenko's most recent win moved her up to No. 69 in the nation. She currently has a record of 10-3. The Lions are No. 46 in the nation with an overall record of 10-6; and No. 3 in the WCC with a conference record of 5-2.
 
The Lions next match is Friday, Apr. 21, against the Santa Clara Broncos at the 1:00 PM at the LMU Tennis Center.
