LOS ANGELES – LMU's Riley Lewis is headed to the Bryan, Texas NCAA Regional after being named as an individual selection on Wednesday. Coming off his individual win at the WCC Championships, Lewis will compete in the three-day, 54-hole tournament at Texas A&M's Tradition's Club. The three rounds will be played over the course of May 16-18.
 
The WCC All-Conference performer has totaled three top-5 finishes this season and is averaging 71.94 strokes per round while beating over 75 percent of the field he's played against.
 
This is also the fourth-consecutive NCAA Tournament that D'Amore's Lions will have representation. Riley Elmes competed in the NCAA Pacific Regional in 2018 and the NCAA Stanford Regional in 2019. Lewis and teammate Gavin Cohen were each selected for the Albuquerque Regional in 2021.
 
The top five teams at each regional and top individual not on an advancing team will advance to the 30-team NCAA Championship May 27-June 1 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
 
Regional play is considered preliminary rounds of the NCAA championships competition.
