Riley Lewis shot three strokes better on Tuesday in the second round of the 2022 NCAA Men's Golf Regionals than on Monday's opening round to jump 13 positions and sit in a tie for 26
th overall. Lewis finished under par for the day and is now 74-71—145.
After collecting just one birdie on Monday, Lewis recorded three consecutive birdies on 11, 12, and 13, after sinking a three-stroke birdie on six in the front nine. The birdie on 11 was a pair three, which Lewis sunk in two to begin his stretch of back-to-back-to-back holes under par.
The two-time NCAA Regional selection will return to play in the morning with an 9:20 AM local time (7:20 AM) start. Lewis will tee off from the first hole with the Texas Southern and the individual from Prairie View A&M.
