LAKE NATOMA, Calif. – LMU women's rowing earned 27 points in the 2022 WCC Championship standings on Saturday morning. The Lions earned their best finish in the II Varsity Eights, edging out San Diego to claim second.
"I'm really proud of our team and the top to bottom effort they displayed today," said Director of Rowing and Head Women's Rowing Coach
Karl Huhta. "The II Eight race was one that I'll remember for the rest of my life. Those Lions were able to have their best performance when it mattered most and I'm thrilled for them. As a whole, our team has come a long, long way since this time last year. All positive steps in the right direction. Thank you to our seniors and 5th year rowers for all they've done for LMU Rowing."
