LA QUINTA, Calif. – LMU men's golf closed out the final round of The Prestige with their best round, shooting sub-300 on the final day. LMU tied for 18
th in the loaded field, finishing at 300-306-296—902.
Riley Lewis led the team and tied for 21
st with a 74-79-69—222. Lewis recorded the lone eagle for the Lions and tied for the team-lead with seven birdies.
Gavin Cohen tied for 59
th with a 74-76-78—228 and
Caden McMackin shot a 77-77-76—230.
Closing out the scoring five for LMU was
Cameron Meeks with his 81-74-76—231.
Tony Hendricks added seven birdies as well as part of his 75-84-75—234.
The Prestige was the only tournament on LMU's February schedule. The Lions will return to competition on Mar. 7-8 at the Lamkin Grips SD Classic.
