SAN MATEO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference announced on Wednesday the postseason awards for men's soccer. Four Lions were honored for their contributions including Noel Caliskan, who was named Midfielder of the Year.

Caliskan wins his second Midfielder of the Year award after taking home the inaugural award last season. He was also named to the All-WCC First Team after scoring three goals and assisting on four more.

Adam Davie also took home first team honors after leading the team with seven goals scored. Davie, a senior from Nottingham, England, started every match for the Lions and had far and away the best conversion percentage, with 21.2 per cent of his shots going in for goals.

Dylan Shockey was named to the second team after a phenomenal season at right back for the Lions. Shockey scored twice, both game-winners, and recorded five assists while providing excellent coverage defensively and marauding forward to help the attack. Shockey's conversion percentage was second on the team, converting 18.2 per cent of the time.

Corbin Mercado was named an honorable mention for the Lions after recording three assists out of his center back position. Mercado played in all 18 matches, starting in 16. His calm demeanor on the ball was a welcome contrast to the frenetic pace that was part of the team's identity in 2022.
