LOS ANGELES – Loyola Marymount University Lions men's soccer picked up a pair of honors from Top Drawer Soccer, the publication announced. Defender
Gerardo Lopez was named to their Best XI First Team while midfielder
Noel Caliskan was tabbed Second Team.

Lopez, the WCC Defender of the Year, appeared and started in all nine games for LMU, seeing 859 minutes on the pitch and led a defense that only allowed 83 shots, two goals, and posted seven shutouts on the year. He was instrumental on the defensive end and helped hold opponents to a shot percentage of .024 and 9.2 shots per game.

Caliskan, appeared and started in all nine games for the Lions and saw 870 minutes of action on the pitch. His average of 1.12 points per match was good for second among conference leaders. In WCC play, the sophomore midfielder accumulated three goals on 19 shots with three assists for LMU.
