LOS ANGELES- The Loyola Marymount University softball team is hitting the road to play California Baptist University in their upcoming double header. 

California Baptist softball currently holds a 12-17-1 record overall with a one game winning streak. They recently defeated Dixie State in a three game series winning two out of the three games. Deja Westbrook is one to watch for at bat leading her team in hits and RBI's.

The Lions recently faced the University of Oregon in their last three games going 0-3 in Eugene. Hummer and Martinez were the leading players who put points on the board for the Lions. They now hold a 10-16 record overall. 

In past years the Lions defeated California Baptist. Unable to play them last year this will be their first matchup since 2019.
