Bindon’s First Women’s Soccer Class Official for 2020

With the addition of eight new players, LMU women's soccer Head Coach Jenny Bindon's first team at LMU is complete. The Lions add six high school players and two Division I transfers to the team for the fall.
 
"I am excited for this 2020 class," said Bindon. "At LMU we want to establish a program of high performers in the classroom and on the pitch. Getting to know the 2020 class, I am confident we will have players that will impact our program."
 
The 2020 class includes Bella Beltran, Kendyll Humphreys, Shelby Kain, McKenna Lutzker, Kailey Park, Madison Thomas, Mia Villegas, and Kelsey Wong.

Bella Beltran WSOC Recruiting Class 2020
 
Bella Beltran | D | JSerra High School | So Cal Blues | Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
 
Defender Bella Beltran has won with every team she has played for. At the club level, Beltran is a five-time ECNL Southwest Conference champion and three- time ECNL National Champion. With her high school, Beltran has won two Trinity League Championships, three CIF Southern Section Championships, and two CIF State championships. The former three-year captain at JSerra and All-League and All-County selection will study health and human sciences at LMU.

Kendyll Humphreys WSOC Recruiting Class 2020
 
Kendyll Humphreys | GK | Transfer from University of Arizona (Pac-12) | Scottsdale Blackhawks | Chandler, AZ
 
A Division I transfer from the University of Arizona, Kendyll Humphreys will join LMU's goalkeeping unit in the fall. Humphreys recorded shutout wins in her first three career starts for the Wildcats. With a career 0.48 goals against average and .818 save percentage, Humphreys has only allowed two goals in her college career. She plans to study business management at LMU.

Shelby Kain WSOC Recruiting Class 2020
 
Shelby Kain | MF/D | El Dorado High School | So Cal Blues | Placentia, CA
 
Another proven winner, Shelby Kain is a five-time ECNL Southwest Conference Champion and three-time ECNL National Champion with So Cal Blues. Kain is a three-time All-League performer, Defensive MVP, and Team MVP in her four years on varsity at El Dorado. Kain plans to major in liberal arts.

McKenna Lutzker WSOC Recruiting Class 2020
 
McKenna Lutzker | GK | Davis Senior High School | Legacy Soccer Club | Davis, CA
 
A Sac-Joaquin Section Division 1 Championship and two-time Delta League title winner with her high school team and a two-time State Cup winner with her club team, McKenna Lutzker has won at every level so far in her career. The coveted goalkeeper has been selected for National ID2 Camp and State PDP, and won the 2019 Maccabi Pan Am Gold Medal. Lutzker will study communications at LMU.

Kailey Park WSOC Recruiting Class 2020

Kailey Park | MF | West High School | Beach FC | Torrance, CA
 
Kailey Park received her school's Female Athlete of the Year Award as a freshman on West Hight School's varsity soccer team. Park will join the midfield core at LMU and intends to major in political science.

Madison Thomas WSOC Recruiting Class 2020
 
Madison Thomas | MF | San Ramon Valley High School | Mustang SC | Danville, CA
 
Madison Thomas is an all-league selection and team captain out of Danville, Calif. The center midfielder plans to enter LMU's communications and broadcast journalism programs.

Mia Villegas WSOC Recruiting Class 2020
 
Mia Villegas | MF | Transfer from University of San Francisco (WCC) | Legacy Soccer Club | Sacramento, CA
 
A transfer from San Francisco, Mia Villegas is a player who has already represented her country, Mexico, at the national level with the U17 World Cup in Jordan, scoring and winning the U20 CONCACAF Championship over the USA in 2018, and playing in the U20 World Cup in France. With over 3,000 minutes played at the Division I level, the former three-time CIF Champion and College Showcase MVP will join LMU with two years of remaining eligibility and major in urban studies.

Kelsey Wong WSOC Recruiting Class 2020

Kelsey Wong | D | Iolani School | Hawaii Heat FC | Honolulu, HI
 
Joining the Lions from Hawaii is a two-time HHSAA D1 State Champion and two-time HYSA State Champion in Kelsey Wong. The former ILH Defensive Player of the Year winner captained her Iolani varsity team for her final three seasons. The two-tome ILH All-Star first team selection will study accounting at LMU.
