Women's Rowing will be hosting UC Santa Barbra in Marina del Rey this upcoming Saturday, February 16^th at 8:00 am. Following the successful scrimmage against the USC Trojans, the Lions are excited to face off the Gauchos in the annual meet and are hoping to put down some strong results.
 
The teams are set out to compete in multiple racing pieces consisting of 1500 meter pieces, 1000 meter pieces, and topping off with 500 meter sprints. The boats participating are LMU's first and second Varsity 8+'s against UCSB's Varsity 8+ and Novice 8+, as well as LMU and UCSB's Varsity 4+'s against each other.
 
This scrimmage against UCSB will be the Women's Rowing SAAC Represent Game for the spring 2020 season. Spectators are welcomed to watch and support the Lions at LMU's Jane Brown Bove Boathouse as they take on the Gauchos. Racing is expected to start at 8:00 am.
 
After this weekend, the team will be gearing up for another home race in Marina del Rey against UCLA Bruins on Saturday March 14^th.
