MOORPARK, Calif. – In a windy first round and second round of the Rustic Collegiate Classic, the LMU men's golf team put together a 302-281—583 to sit in fourth in the team scoring. All five Lions competing in the team scoring either improved upon or duplicated their opening round scores.
 
Cameron Meeks leads the Lions and is tied for ninth overall through 36 holes with his 73-70—143.
 
A stroke back is Gavin Cohen at 78-66—144 after scoring a team low in the second round and tying for 12^thoverall.
 
Riley Lewis is tied for 14^th with his 76-70—146.
 
Scoring back-to-back 75s, Brendan Gonzalez is tied for 22^nd with his 75-75—150.
 
Caden McMackin closed out the five for LMU with an 88-75—163.
 
Leading all individuals is Guy Clauss, who is tied at 14^th overall in the field with a 74-72—146.
 
John Pollock (86-74—160) and Matthew Carungay (82-84—166) will open the final round of competition first on Friday morning beginning with Carungay teeing off from the first hole at 7:15 a.m. and Pollock following seven minutes later.
