LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University women's tennis team will host Oregon in its home opener on Friday afternoon at LMU Tennis Center.
 
The Lions will host Friday's game coming off of a split weekend at the ITA Weekend Kick-off, as the team swept Gonzaga 4-0, and then got swept by No. 4 UCLA 4-0. 
 
Eva Marie Voracek clinched the match for the Lions against the Bulldogs, as she beat her opponent at the No. 2 spot, 6-2, 6-0. 
 
Last season, the Lions fell to Oregon 5-2 in Eugene. The Ducks are currently 2-0 on the season. 
 
LMU will kick off their home opener at 1:00 PM, starting with doubles play at LMU Tennis Center.
