LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount men's golf team is in Southern California this week for the 2019 Southwestern Invitational at North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village. 
 
North Ranch is a great opportunity for our team," said Head Coach Jason D'Amore. "The golf course sets up really well for us. We've had a productive couple weeks since our last event, and we're looking forward to having a good finish this week. This event has one of the best fields we'll play it all year."
 
Riley Elmes , Justin Egelske, Samuel Su, Matthew Carungay, and Gavin Cohen will compete for the Lions this week as LMU's five.
 
Play will begin on Monday with 36 holes on the Par 72, 6,992 Lakes and Oaks courses starting at 7:19 a.m., and concluding with the final 18 holes scheduled for Tuesday morning teeing off at 7:19 a.m. as well.
 
Twelve team make up this year's field, Pepperdine, Augusta, California, George Washington, Loyola Marymount, Oregon State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, and Washington.
