Charity Elliott has announced that Nicole Rodriguez has signed her National Letter of Intent to play basketball at LMU starting with the 2020-21 season.
"Nicole is one of the best pure shooters in Southern California and will immediately stretch our defense by her presence," said Elliott. "She's a hard worker, tough defender and the ultimate teammate. We are looking so forward to her arriving on the Bluff and wearing a Lion uniform."
Rodriguez comes to LMU from Fullerton, Calif., where she attended Rosary Academy High School. Where she was named All-League and All-County and All CIF her junior season.
The shooting guard stands at five-feet-nine-inches and has been ranked top 10 in the state of California. Rodriguez averaged 11 points, five rebounds and shot 49 percent from behind the arch.
"Both her and her parents are the epitome of what you want in your program and I couldn't be happier to welcome them to our team," said Elliott.
