LOS ANGELES – The Lions are set to embark on their third tournament of the season this week. LMU will be playing in the 15-team Alister MacKenzie Invitational hosted by Cal on Monday and Tuesday.
 
"We have a good chance this week to keep building on the momentum from Albuquerque," said Head Coach Jason D'Amore. "It's nice to be playing in our home state and the guys are looking forward to the week"
 
The tournament will be played over two days for a total of 54 holes (36 holes on Monday, 18 holes on Tuesday). Five players per team with lowest four scores each round counting toward team score
 
LMU will be competing with Cameron Meeks, Raymond Navis, Gavin Cohen, Kyle Kinnane, and Mason Glinski
 
This year's field includes Boise State, California, Chattanooga, Fresno State, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, LMU, Nevada, Pepperdine, San Diego, San Diego State, San Jose State, Santa Clara, St. Mary's, and UC Santa Barbara.

The tournament will begin on Monday, Oct. 7 – 8:15 am PT (shotgun, 36 holes) and conclude on  Tuesday, Oct. 8 – 8:00 am (1st tee)/8:10 am (10th tee).
