LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount men's golf season returns on Monday and Tuesday as the Lions travel to Sewailo Golf Club to participate in the 16-school, 54-hole Arizona Intercollegiate.
Riley Elmes,
Raymond Navis,
Gavin Cohen,
Matthew Carungay, and
Mason Glinski will be the five competing for LMU, while
Cameron Meeks and
Samuel Su will be entered as individuals.
"Sewailo is a Course with the potential to shed some low scores if the weather is good," said Head Coach
Jason D'Amore. "Our wedges and putting will be key this week. Really looking forward to getting the Spring season started with our squad. The guys are ready."
Joining LMU will be Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Denver, Iowa State, Long Beach State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, St. Mary's, Texas A&M, UALR, UCLA, UTEP, UTSA, and Washington.
The first two rounds will be played on Monday with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start kicking off the tournament and continue with the second round at 12:30 p.m. The third and final round will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The Arizona Intercollegiate began in 1981 and has been played every year since.
