Playing on the road at Gonzaga on Saturday, LMU women's tennis (11-5, 3-2 WCC) suffered a 4-1 setback to the Bulldogs (14-5, 5-1 WCC). The loss snapped a three-match win streak for the Lions.

Gonzaga took the doubles point by way of victories on courts one and two. #40 Sophie Whittle/Graciela Rosas defeated #29 Veronica Miroshnichenko/Eva Marie Voracek, 6-3, on court one, while Alex Bourguignon/Haruna Tsuruta took down Siobhan Anderson/Anna Romeka, 6-0, to capture the doubles point.

LMU's lone singles win came on court three as Anderson defeated Rosas, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.

LMU will return home looking to get back on track next week, hosting BYU and San Diego on Friday and Saturday from the LMU Tennis Center.
