Competing at the 45th Annual San Diego Crew Classic over the weekend, LMU rowing placed boats in a trio of Grand Finals.

The women's Varsity 8+ came in fourth in the Grand final on Sunday, one place ahead of last year. The Lions qualified for the Grand Final by placing second in their heat.

Women's 2V 8+ raced in the C final with conference schools San Diego, Portland and Saint Mary's. There, the Lions finished third in the final behind San Diego and Southern Methodist University, ahead of Portland, Saint Mary's and UC Santa Barbara.
