The LMU beach volleyball team (2-0) opened the 2018 season with a pair of wins on Saturday, managing 5-0 victories over CSU Bakersfield and Vanguard from Huntington Beach, Calif.

LMU is currently ranked #17 according to DiG Magazine and #20 according to the AVCA.

The Lions will now prepare for matches against Washington and New Mexico on March 2. LMU will then play Arizona and Grand Canyon on March 3. The first three matches of the trip will be played at Arizona in Tucson, Ariz., while the match against the Lopes will be a true road contest at GCU.
