LOS ANGELES - LMU Athletics announced today that they have entered into a partnership with OneWest Bank, a division of CIT Bank, N.A., to provide free entry to local schools, charities, and youth groups to its men's basketball games, as part of a new initiative called the OneWest Bank Community Corner.
The OneWest Bank Community Corner encourages local schools, youth groups, charity organizations and underserved youth to register for a chance to participate in drawings, with a limited number of complimentary tickets, to men's basketball games in the 2016-2017 season at Gersten Pavilion.
"We are pleased to partner with OneWest Bank on the creation of its Community Corner," said LMU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. William Husak. "Our local community has been an integral part of supporting LMU Athletics over the years, and thanks to OneWest's generosity, we're excited to be able to give back in this way."
"Providing support to the communities of Southern California is core to OneWest Bank's mission," said Steve Solk, CIT president, California. "We are proud to work with Loyola Marymount University to give kids in our community access to LMU's games, which in turn could fuel their own passions and dreams."
Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment, the university's athletics multimedia rights holder, secured the partnership with OneWest Bank.
