LAKE LAS VEGAS, Nev. â€"LMU's first tournament since 2006 was suspended due to darkness after 32 holes on Monday, as teams will finish the final four holes of the second round of the 2016 LMU Invitational Honoring Jerry Mook on Tuesday morning at 8 am.
Most teams finished 14 holes in the second round before darkness took over Reflection Bay Golf Club on Monday, UNLV is in the lead at 22-under. They lead the field by 22 strokes as Cal Poly is in second at even par while UC Santa Barbara and Saint Maru's are tied for third at two-over par.
Justin De Los Santos of Cal Poly leads the field at nine-under par after 12 holes of the second round.
The second round will be completed with a shotgun start at 8 am. The third and final round will follow immediately after the completion of the second round.
Riley Elmes leads the Lions in a tie for 34th while Connor Campbell and Billy Pollock are in a tie for 48th. Blake Meek, playing as an individual, is in a tie for 62nd. Chase Nicolai and Deane Rinaldi, playing as an individual, is in a tie for 65th. Nick Jan, playing as an individual, is 71st and Braden Baer is in a tie for 76th.
