Shot a season-best 69-69-72--210 in the San Diego Lamkin Classic (Mar. 12-13, 2018), tying him for sixth overall, the highest place of his career... Finished his career at the WCC Championships (Apr. 16-18, 2018) with a 78-74-74--226.
IN 2016-17 • JUNIOR...Played in all 36 rounds for LMU in 12 events as a junior...Finished fourth on the team with a 75.25 stroke average...Shot under par twice on the season, shooting 73-68-67--208 to finish tied for 12th at 5-under at the Kaanapali Collegiate Classic (Nov. 4-6, 2016) and 70-72-71--213 to go 3-under and again tie for 12th at the Ping Cougar Classic (Apr. 10-11, 2017).
IN 2015-16 • SOPHOMORE... Played 30 rounds for the Lions in his redshirt sophomore season, playing in 10 events... finished the season with a stroke average of 76.30... had a top-10 finish on the season, placing in a tie for ninth at the Bill Cullum Invitational (10/20/15), shooting a four-under 212... shot a season-low 68 in the second round of the Bill Cullum... finished tied for 18th at The Farms Intercollegiate (2/9/16), shooting an eight-over 224... finished the 2016 WCC Championships shooting a 10-over 226.
IN 2014-15 • FRESHMAN... Played in 17 rounds as sophomore, appearing in six events... best finish was a tie for 27th out of 88 at the 2015 Arizona Intercollegiate, shooting a season low 70 in the third round (1/27/15)... finished the season with a78.65 stoke average.
BEFORE LMU...Jan is a native of Northbrook, Ill., graduating from Glenbrook North High School. He attended Ohio State before transferring to LMU following the fall semester... Jan was a two-time conference champion (2009, 2011) and was the 2012 runner-up, while being named all-conference four years in a row at Glenbrook. Ranked No. 44 on Golfweek's Class of 2013 list, Jan had an excellent summer season in 2012 as he reached match play at the 2012 USGA Junior Amateur after finishing 18th in stroke play. He totaled three Top-3 finishes in AJGA events, including a second-place finish at the Stonehenge AJGA Junior Open.
