LOS ANGELES -
Following a 1-1 outing at the 19th annual LMU Thanksgiving Classic, the LMU women's basketball team will return to the road at Seattle on Tuesday. Tip-off from Connolly Complex is set for 7 p.m.

Last Time Out
Despite a furious fourth-quarter comeback, LMU fell short against Belmont, 79-72, Saturday afternoon in the final game of the 19th annual LMU Thanksgiving Classic at Gersten Pavilion. Traililng by 14 points to start the fourth quarter, the Lions made it a four-point game with just over four minutes remaining, but Belmont connected on three of its 12 3-pointers down the stretch to pull away with the win.

Jackie Johnson finished with her fourth double-double of the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Cheyanne Wallace tallied a team-high 20 points to go with seven rebounds. Andee Velasco matched a career-high with a 17 points and set a new career-best with nine assists.

Recap: Fourth-Quarter Comeback Falls Short Against Belmont, 79-72 Double Trouble
Jackie Johnson recorded her fourth double-double of the season on Nov. 26 against Belmont. Johnson and Pepperdine's Yas Robinson-Bacote are the only two players in the WCC to currently average a double-double per game.

Carrying the Load
Jackie Johnson leads the WCC in rebounds per game (10.8), ranks second in steals (2.7) and blocked shots (2.9) and fourth in scoring average (15.3).

Dynamic Duo
Jackie Johnson and Cheyanne Wallace currently rank fourth and fifth in the WCC with 15.3 and 15.2 points per game. LMU is the only team in the conference to have two student-athletes rank within the top five among scoring leaders.

Locking the Lid
The Lions surrendered just three points against UC Irvine in the first quarter in a 58-39 win in its opening game of the LMU Thanksgiving Classic on Nov. 25, setting a new program record for fewest points allowed in a quarter, besting its mark of allowing just eight points a season ago against the Anteaters on Nov. 28, 2015. LMU'S 39 points allowed in the game marked its lowest opponent total since a 65-39 win over Jackson State Nov. 11, 2007.

Light it Up
Cheyanne Wallace's 20 points against San Diego State on Nov. 20 marked her sixth 20-plus point game of her career. Wallace also notched a career-high 26 points against Saint Louis on Nov. 13.

From Downtown
Leslie Lopez-Wood broke the all-time 3-point career record a season ago and holds 219 to her name. The senior has lead the Lions in triples in each of her three seasons, and also set the single season mark with 82 makes from beyond-the-arc a season ago.

Instant Impact
Raychel Stanley has made an immediate impact off the bench as she enters the weekend averaging 5.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.

Dishing it Out
Andee Velasco set the LMU freshman record with 125 assists a season ago, which also ranks No. 6 all-time in a single season.

On the Boards
Bree Alford hauled down a LMU sophomore record 252 rebounds, good for second on the team and sixth in the WCC, while also ranking No. 8 all-time in a single season.

Scouting Seattle
Head coach Suzy Barcomb has guided the Redhawks to a 1-5 start in her first season at the helm. Despite losing its top two scorers from a season ago, Seattle returns six student-athletes who averaged over 10 minutes per contest last year. Seattle's senior trio of Kylee Best, Alexis Montgomery and Claire Metoyer are the top scorers for the Redhawks, averaging 18.2, 14.2 and 8.0 points per game, respectively.

In the middle of a four-game homestand, Seattle's lone win of the season came inside the Connolly Complex, a 58-53 decision over UC Santa Barbara.

The Series
After taking the opening two games of the series, LMU has dropped the past three matchups to trail 2-3 in the all-time series.
