Spent two seasons (2012-13 and 2013-14) on the court for the Gophers of Minnesota... saw action in 12 games as a freshman, earning the team's Golden Gopher Award.. as a sophomore she was named the team's Most Improved Player, averaging 2.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game in an average of 11.2 minutes per game... Johnson was sidelined for the 2014-15 season due to injury.

A 2012 graduate of Eden Prairie High School in Minnesota... was ranked among ESPNU's top-100 on ESPN.com, as well as ranked No. 13 nationally at her position... was nominated to the 2012 McDonald's All-American High School Basketball Team, ranked the No. 1 recruit in the state of Minnesota by GPrep.net and was a Minnesota Miss Basketball finalist... holds the Eden Prairie High School records for career blocks (254) and rebounds (888), while ranking second in points (1,460)... also holds single-season records in points (485), rebounds (293), blocks (108) and steals (74), and twice participated in the state tournament.
