LOS ANGELES -- Due to demand for one of the biggest home schedules in school history, the season ticket renewal window for the 2016-17 LMU men's basketball season has been extended. Fans have until Wednesday, Oct. 19 to renew and purchase season tickets before seats are released for special ticket packages and individual game tickets for the Lions' loaded 18-game home schedule, including games against UConn, Boise State, Gonzaga, Saint Mary's, BYU and more.

Sales for individual game tickets and special ticket packages will be delayed until Oct. 19 to accommodate season ticket renewals and purchases. The best way to get tickets to this season of LMU basketball is through season tickets. To renew season tickets, click MY ACCOUNT. To buy new season ticket, click BUY TICKETS. Have the promo code for the local community season ticket, click PROMO CODE.

Season tickets can be renewed and purchased after Oct. 17, however, they are no longer reserved and subject to availability.

This season will feature non-conference match-ups with UConn on Nov. 17, Boise State on Dec. 5, and the annual LMU Holiday Classic against Morgan State on Dec. 26. The West Coast Conference portion of the schedule will start on the final weekend of the calendar year with Saint Mary's (Dec. 29) and BYU (Dec. 31). The annual Family Weekend slate of games features Gonzaga on Feb. 9, followed by the Family Weekend Game on Feb. 11 against Portland. Wells Fargo PCH Cup rival Pepperdine comes to Gersten Pavilion on Feb. 18 for the 2017 LMU Homecoming and will also be the 2017 LMU Athletics' Hall of Fame Game. The season closes with the 2017 Senior Day and Recent Alum Night on Feb. 23.

Season tickets in the lower level reserved section of Gersten Pavilion are just $250. That's over 50 percent off the regular single game ticket price. The price includes choice seating for all games in 2016-17, and is the best option for the top platinum-level games against UConn and Gonzaga, and the premium level games against Saint Mary's, Pepperdine and BYU.

Upper level (200 level) season tickets for Southern California residents are just $120 ($80 for children 12 and under/seniors over 55), that is a 75 percent savings off individual game tickets. That's the 17 regular games and the free Holiday Classic game for just $7 per game. Community members must have a promotional code for this pricing. Look for the code in the mail or call the ticket office at (310) 338-LION (5466).

Faculty, staff and students get entrance into all LMU home games for free with a valid LMU One Card, which grants general admission access to the student section in the 300 lower level. For faculty and staff wishing for 100 level reserved season tickets, they are just $150. That's a 72 percent savings off individual game tickets in the lower level, and 40 percent of regular season ticket price for the same section.

Recent alums of LMU (classes 2007 through 2016) can also get lower level reserved season tickets for just $150.
