The LMU women's tennis team (4-19, 1-8 WCC) rode success in singles play to a victory over Pacific (8-12, 2-7 WCC) on the road on Saturday afternoon. The victory was the first in conference play for the Lions, and it came in the season finale.
LMU dropped a very close doubles point as Anna Romeka and Jessica Perez topped Gergana Boncheva and Daria Labintseva, 6-3, on court two, but the Tigers took the first and third courts, including a 7-6 (3) tiebreaking decision at #3 doubles.

Julia Norlin also won a three-setter, rebounding after dropping the first set to knock off Labintseva, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6.
LMU's other two victories came from junior Kristine Kouyoumjian and Ellie Grossman. Kouyoumjian defeated Regina Suarez in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2, while Grossman put away Boncheva in close sets, 7-6 (3), 6-4.
