The LMU women's tennis team (2-8) won the doubles point, but ultimately dropped a 4-3 decision to Cal State Fullerton (6-7) on Saturday afternoon in Fullerton, Calif.

Lisa Piller and Anna Romeka combined to defeat Alexis Valenzuela and Danielle Pham on court two doubles before Julia Norlin and Andrea Crespo sealed the point with a victory over Erasmus/Pepa on court three.

Anna Romeka impressed in a victory over Megan Sandford on court three in singles, defeating her opponent by scores of 6-2, 6-2. Ellie Grossman battled Danielle Pham tough on the fourth court, but Grossman eventually fell by scores of 7-6 (1), 6-3.

Although the match was already decided at 4-2, Julia Norlin finished her day well, defeating Emilia Borkowski in a hard-fought three-set match, 4-6, 6-1, 7-5.

LMU will return to action on March 12 when it travels to Utah State for a match at 10 a.m.
