The LMU women's tennis team (2-5) traveled to UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, dropping a 6-1 decision to the Gauchos (4-4) at UCSB's Rec Center Courts.

Anna Romeka posted the lone Lion victory on Saturday playing at #5 singles. The native of Monterey, Calif. defeated Stacy Yam, 4-6, 7-6, 10-6. Sophomore Jessica Perez and junior Andrea Crespo each forced a decisive third set, with Perez playing in a tie-breaker once the match score was already decided, but both players eventually fell.

LMU's seven-match road trip will continue next Saturday when it travels to UNLV for a match against #37 Arizona. The Lions will then play the Rebels on Sunday.
