SEASIDE, Calif. -- LMU men's golf moved three spots in the final standings thanks to a final round of 297, one of the top rounds of the third round at the 2013 Saint Mary's Invitational at Bayonet Golf Course on Tuesday. The Lions finished with a three-round 897.

Making the biggest jump on the day was senior Tyler Torano, who posted a three-under 69 on Tuesday to claim his eighth career top-five finish by finishing fifth with a three-round even-par 216.

Posting his first career top-20 finish was sophomore Chase Nicolai with a three-round 220, posting consistent rounds of 73, 74, and 73.

Freshman Blake Meek posted a three-round 229 in his first collegiate tournament, while fellow freshman Nick Cantlay had a 238. Sophomore Connor Campbell posted a 235.

The Lions head to Mexico for the Cabo Collegiate at Cabo Del Sol Golf Course on Oct. 6-8.
