PAUMA VALLEY, Calif. -- LMU men's golf sophomore Jake Sarnoff posted a three-round 224 to finish in a tie for seventh place at the 2010 Triumph at Pauma Valley Country Club in Pauma Valley, Calif. It is Sarnoff's fourth top-10 finish of the season.

The Lions finished in eighth place as a team with a three-round 940, edging Weber State by two strokes.

Junior John Lim was second for the Lions with a 235, good for a tie at 33rd in the 70-man field.

Rounding out the Lions scores was Blake Nicolai with a 241 and in a tie for 44th, Bryan Bernga with a 244 and in a tie for 50th and Boris Stantchev with a 242, good for a tie at 63rd.

The Lions will head to their final tournament before conference championships when they travel to the 2010 Barona Collegiate Cup hosted by San Diego State at the Barona Creek Golf Course in Lakeside, Calif. First round action takes place on March 25 with final round on March 26.
