Second Round Results

DALY CITY, Calif. -- LMU senior Greg Moss posted a second round 77 at the NCAA Men's West Regional at Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, Calif., on Friday afternoon. The five-over par score puts the West Coast Conference Individual champion in a tie for 63rd with a two-round 149.

In Thursday's first round, Moss was able to rebound from over-par rounds with birdies. However, on Friday he could not recover from a pair of double bogeys, posting six on the par-4 fifth and seventh holes. Moss, who started the day on the 10th, looked head for another day of par golf to remain in the top-20.

He evened his two bogeys with a pair of birdies, the first coming on the 14th and the second on the 16th. He made the turn to the front nine with an even 36.

However, the front nine was not kind. After bogeys on the first and fourth holes, he suffered his par of double bogeys. The 458-yard seventh has not be kind to Moss, going four-over par in the first two rounds. He finished his round on a positive note, knocking in a birdie for the second straight day on the par-five, 516-yard ninth.
