Kahuka, HI (Nov. 7) -- The Loyola Marymount University men's golf team was paced by sophomore Jason D'Amore in the first round of the 2005 Hawaii Fall Intercollegiate at Turtle Bay Resort in Kahuka, Hawaii on Monday. The Lions posted a first round score of 318.

D'Amore shot a 38 in the first nine and then followed with a 35 in the back nine for a 73. He is in a tie for 17th after the first 18. The second round will play tomorrow, Tuesday, with the final round on Wednesday.

Senior Chaz Inouye (79) is in a tie for 72nd with teammate Josh Escobedo. Freshman Louie Bergna and junior Brendan von Doehren posted 87s for a tie at 105th.
