Los Angeles, CA (Oct. 17) -- The Loyola Marymount University men's water polo team retained its ranking of seventh in the country in the lastest United States Water Polo top-20, earning a tie with Pacific at 64 points.
Retaining the top spot once again was Stanford University will all 100 points. Moving from fourth to second was the UC Irvine Anteaters, who travel to Burns Recreation and Aquatics Center today, Oct. 17, to take on the Lions at 3:00 p.m. With a record of 9-4, the Anteaters have played their entire schedule against teams in the top-20.
The Lions have a very similar schedule, playing their 17th consecutive team in the nation's top-20. LMU enters the contest at 8-10.
