LOS ANGELES - LMU's
Noa Sasover has been named GCC Player of the Week by the conference on Thursday morning.
Noa Sasover was perfect at the center position on Saturday with two goals on two shot attempts in LMU's come-from-behind win over #19 San Diego State. Both of the junior's goals occurred during the 6-1 third quarter that changed the trajectory of the game. Sasover added to her offensive impact by drawing four total exclusions including one for a penalty goal.
Sasover is the second Lion to win the weekly award this season, joining teammate
Anna Tarantino who earned recognition on February 5.
The #7 Lions remain at home this weekend and host #T-10 Fresno State in a rematch of last season's Golden Coast Conference Tournament Championship game.
The venue will be the same for the Lions and Bulldogs as the two meet for a noon battle at Burns Aquatics Center.
