LOS ANGELES — The West Coast Conference announced its 2025 end-of-season awards on Monday, with two Lions earning All-WCC recognition following LMU's first year under head coach Kolby O'Donnell. Graduate student Maddie Boerstra was named to the All-WCC Second Team, while senior Sophie Stephenson received Honorable Mention honors.

Boerstra, who returned to competition this fall after missing last season due to injury, closed her collegiate career with a standout campaign and emerged as LMU's top six-rotation scoring option. She led the Lions in kills (366) and service aces (33) and ranked third in digs (203), finishing the year with 417.5 total points. Her career totals include 653 kills, 297 digs, 116 blocks, and 53 aces across 93 matches and 298 sets.

Stephenson earned Honorable Mention after producing her most consistent season as a Lion. The senior outside hitter ranked second on the team in kills (299) while adding 21 aces, 123 digs, and 36 blocks, hitting .204 on the year. She concluded her LMU career with 379 kills, 149 digs, 56 total blocks, and 431.5 points over 53 matches and 166 sets.
