LOS ANGELES – LMU baseball has unveiled its 2026 schedule, which features a challenging non-conference lineup and a full slate of West Coast Conference competition as the Lions aim to build on their program's momentum.
The season opens with a three-game homestand against Tulane from February 13-15 before the Lions hit the road for a midweek matchup at crosstown rival USC on February 17. LMU returns home to welcome Washington for a three-game series February 20-22, followed by single games against TCU (February 23) and UCSB (February 24).
The non-conference schedule is highlighted by showdowns with perennial contenders from across the country. The Lions will travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for a doubleheader weekend against Wake Forest and Davidson on February 27-March 1. A road trip to Tempe follows on March 6-8 to face Arizona State, and LMU will head to Abilene, Texas, for a three-game set against Abilene Christian from March 13-15.
Additional non-conference tests include road games at UCSB (March 3), Long Beach State (March 17), UCLA (March 24), CSUN (April 14), and UC San Diego (April 28). The Lions will host Utah (March 2), Cal Baptist (March 10), Cal Poly (March 25), UC Riverside (April 21), and UCLA (May 5) for midweek action.
West Coast Conference Play
WCC action begins on March 20 when LMU hosts Portland for a three-game series. The conference slate features home series against San Francisco (April 2-4), Pepperdine (April 17-19), and Saint Mary's (May 8-10), with the Pepperdine rivalry providing one of the season's marquee matchups.
The Lions will travel for conference series at Santa Clara (March 27-29), Seattle (April 10-12), Gonzaga (April 24-26), Pacific (May 1-3), and San Diego (May 14-16) to close out the regular season.
Following the completion of the regular season, the WCC Baseball Tournament will be held in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Ballpark, where the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament will be awarded.
