LOS ANGELES – The Lions baseball team fell to Dartmouth 10-2 on Sunday afternoon in the finale of a four-game series at Page Stadium.Â
Â
The Lions fell behind early and could not mount the comeback needed to salvage the series win. Â
Â
Chaz McRoberts gave up three runs in the top of the first but settled down to throw four effective innings before turning the ball over to the bullpen.Â
Â
LMU got one back in the third inning to cut the lead to two, but that is the closest they would get.
Max Senesac continued his solid start to his collegiate career with a single and then came around to score on a
Christian Dicochea lucky bounce at short.Â
Â
Fireworks came alive in the bottom of the eighth on a close strikeout call on first baseman Brendan Bobo. Bobo was not happy with the call and neither were the coaching staff as both head coach
Donegal Fergus and assistant coach
Justin Dedman were ejected from the game. Â
Â
Daalen Adderley hit a solo shot in the ninth inning to mark the final tally.Â
Â
LMU will play Fresno State on the road on Tuesday, with first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m. (PT). Â
