POMONA, Calif. - Adam Trafecanty set a meet record in the 3000-meter as the Lions had a strong showing at the Pomona-Pitzer All Comers on Saturday in Pomona, Calif.
Zoe Chang was .02 seconds off her personal records in the 100 and 200 meters, a great sign going into the 2024 season. She holds the No. 2 and 3 times in school history in those events.
The main story was Trafecanty who set a meet record for the second consecutive year. He improved on an 8:17.35 by two seconds to 8:15.18. He ran most of the race out front.
Jacob Wiggers also had a solid season debut, finishing second overall coming in at 8:26.81. Will Luders also had a solid season debut and set a PR, finishing seventh overall and recording a time of 8:37.12.
